Publica keeps logs of different types of events as they happen in the system. The following illustration shows the points within an endpoint request when logs are created.
Logs are tied together by the endpointUuid value. The unique identifier ties every log file back to the original endpoint request. When reviewing logs, you can find related entried by filtering by the endpointUuid value.
The following sections describe each log type and the elements consistently contained in most or all types of log file.
Created at the end of the auction and doesn’t add additional information
Created for each bid request sent to an SSP for each auction.
The Bid Requested log includes additional top level objects about the biddertype, and more information in the bidrequest object related to the bidrequest ID, and the channel and publisher IDs related to the bid. It additionally includes the bids object, which includes the bidder that the request was sent to, and the headerbidderID which describes the bidder/channel relationship within Publica.
